Student Intership Program By CAG
The Student Internship Program is a distinctive educational opportunity that is designed to offer interns an understanding of the operations of the CAG of India.
Applications are being accepted by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) office for the purpose of employing Student Interns (SIs) on a contract basis for a period of 3 to 6 months to work in the Regional Capacity Building and Knowledge Institutes.
Candidates with an exceptional academic record who are pursuing under graduation, post-graduation, or research in any discipline at reputable, recognized institutions are eligible to apply.
Skills in Information Technology (IT) and Information Communication Technology (ICT) are preferred, as well as strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
The Student Intern (SI) will be required to sign a Secrecy and Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to reporting for the internship, and they will be subject to the country’s secrecy laws.
At the conclusion of the internship, interns are required to submit a report or paper over the designated subject to the relevant Head of the Functional Wing/Head of the Field Office. The progress of the projects will be regularly reviewed by the Head of the Functional Wing at CAG office/Head of Field Office. An Experience Certificate / Recommendatory letter will be awarded upon completion of the internship.
The internship will not be a regular job or appointment of any kind in the office of the CAG of India or the Indian Audit & Accounts Department. It will also not be like the CAG of India and the SI are employers and employees.
How Many Interns: The CAG of India will hire as many Student Interns as they need from time to time. The internships will last between three and six months, and the interns will work out of the CAG’s office in New Delhi or one of its field offices across India.

Money paid The token payment is ₹12,000/- per month for each intern, and it will be given to them when they finish their internship and turn in their report or paper. Logistics support: Interns will be given the logistics support they need, such as an office and a computer that can connect to the internet. Getting fired A certificate of experience or a letter of recommendation will be given at the end of the internship.
When the internship is over, interns must give the relevant Head of the Functional Wing/Head of the Field office a Report/Paper on the subject they were given. Before they start their internship, interns have to sign a declaration of secrecy.
Eligibility of Students Internship Program
Essential Characteristics The applicant must not be older than 25 years old at the time of application.
Individuals who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate, postgraduate, or research program in any field of study at a recognized and reputable institution and who have an outstanding academic record are eligible to submit an application.
Attributes that are Favored The skills required for this position include proficiency in information technology (IT) and information communication technology (ICT), as well as strong communication and interpersonal experience.
Additional Characteristics A non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement will be signed by the Student Intern (SI) prior to their arrival at the internship location.
The SI will be required to comply with the laws of the country that govern confidentiality.There will be no difference between the working hours of the SI and the regular timing of this office.
A leave of absence of any kind is not going to be granted to the Student Intern. On Saturdays, Sundays, and Gazetted Holidays, as well as working outside of normal office hours, employees are not eligible for any additional compensation.
