Snehasanthwanam: Kerala Government Scheme
The “Snehasanthwanam” program was introduced by the Kerala government through the Kerala Social Security Mission. For the Endosulfan victims in the state of Kerala, the program serves as a form of relief. The Endosulfan victims have been receiving financial aid under this program since December 2010. The children of families affected by endosulfan are also intended to receive educational support under this program. Furthermore, the Kerala Social Security Mission is currently offering ₹700/-per month in assistance to caregivers of Endosulfan victims who are completely bedridden or mentally retarded through the unique Aswasakiranam scheme.
Benefits of Snehasanthwanam Scheme
The scheme provides bedridden Endosulfan victims with ₹2200 in financial assistance.
Such bedridden Endosulfan victims who receive ₹300/-per month as a disability pension are provided with financial assistance of ₹1700/-.
According to the list provided by the District Collector, ₹1200 is awarded to all other Endosulfan victims.
Additionally, under the unique Aswasakiranam scheme, caregivers of Endosulfan victims who are completely bedridden or mentally retarded receive ₹700/-per month.
The following forms of educational support will be given to children from families affected by endosulfan:
• Child attending Buds School costs ₹2000.
• Students in Classes 1 through 7: ₹2000.
• Students in eighth through tenth grade: ₹3,000.
• Students in grades eleven and twelve : 4000 INR.

Eligibility of Snehasanthwanam Scheme
The candidate needs to live in Kerala State.
An Endosulfan victim should be the applicant.
Application Process of Snehasanthwanam scheme
The completed application must be delivered to the Kasaragod District Collector Office in order to receive the benefits of the program.
Note: The candidate may also go to the Kerala Social Justice Department or the Kerala Social Security Mission offices.
