Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana : Maharashtra Government
The Maharashtra government’s Women and Child Development Department introduced the “Mukhyamantri – Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana” program. The program’s objectives are to improve women’s health and nutrition, develop their leadership position in the family, and grant them economic independence within the state age range of 21 to 65. By way of direct benefit transfer (DBT), the ladies will receive ₹1,500.
This scheme aims to provide financial and social support to economically disadvantaged women in Maharashtra, particularly those facing hardships. Women who live in Maharashtra and are from economically disadvantaged groups are eligible, as long as they fulfill the requirements of the program.
Following submission, applications are reviewed by a Taluka/Ward committee, and a provisional list of eligible beneficiaries is created. Applicants will be notified by SMS. Applications are reviewed by a Taluka/Ward level committee comprised of non-governmental members appointed by the district’s guardian minister.

The beneficiary woman’s Aadhaar card photo and her residence certificate (or, in the event that the latter is unavailable, any of the following may be submitted) Birth certificate, school leaving certificate, voter ID card, or ration card issued prior to the age of 15.
For women born abroad, please submit the birth certificate, school leaving certificate, residence certificate, husband’s ration card issued prior to the age of 15, and voter ID card issued prior to the age of 15. If the woman has an Orange or Yellow Ration Card,
