Financial Assistance to Disabled Student Pursuing
The Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala, started a program called "Financial Assistance to Disabled Students Pursuing (10th, 11th, and 12th Equivalent Exams)." Under the plan, these school dropouts will get money to pay for courses that are equal to SSLC, +1, or +2. These courses will be run by the State Literacy Mission.A person can be crippled from birth, an accident, or a disease. People with different abilities have a hard time going about their daily lives.
About 90% of handicapped people may not have even gone to elementary school. They have to give up their studies because of things like how hard it is for them to get to school and how bad the roads are. The person who wants to use the scheme's benefits must get an application form from the nearest Anganwadi Center or District Social Justice Office. Eligibility of Financial Assistance to Disabled Student Pursuing
It is required that the applicant be a resident of the state of Kerala.
Students who are differently abled and have a disability of 40% percent or more are eligible to apply for the program.
Financial support will be granted to students who fall into the categories of Above Poverty Line (APL) and Below Poverty Line (BPL).
Application Process for Financial Assistance to Disabled Student Pursuing
Step 1: To get the benefits of the plan, the person who wants to apply must get an application form (Click Here) from the nearest Anganwadi Center or District Social Justice Office. If you want to, you can also download the registration form from the Social Justice Department, Government of Kerala's website.
Step 2: The person applying must fully fill out the application form.
Step 3: You can give the application to the District Social Justice Officers (DSJOs) or the Anganwadi Center that is in charge of the case.
Note:
The DSJOs are responsible for making sure that the applicants have finished their classes and that the State Literacy Mission badges have been given to the right people during that school year.
The list of people who will be helped will be made from the forms that the Anganwadi workers collect and the questions that the Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) ask.
